Gordon passed away Friday morning, May 26, 2017, after a short but very difficult struggle with lung/bone cancer, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He was in Hospice care at home at the time of his passing. He was born in 1940 in Evanston, Wyoming, and was ever grateful that he wound up in California via a 4-year stint in the Navy. He was an electronics engineer by trade with a degree in computer science. He loved family, golf and square dancing and will be sadly missed! There is no funeral or memorial service planned.
Gordon & Karen were Registration Co-Chairs for the 58th National Square Dance Convention held in Long Beach, California.
Karen thanks everyone for their concern, support and words of encouragement while Gordon was ill. She wants the square dance community to know she will be dancing again very soon and appreciates your well wishes.
