Friday C-3A Dance

At this session Todd presented an interesting mix of calls from unfamiliar positions and challenging applications of concepts: 

(1) from parallelogram single-file columns with #1 & #2 in each column in the center box -- Parallelogram Reach Out

(2) from a tidal column with all dancers facing out -- Cross Concentric Single Turn To A Line

(3) from a 1/4 box -- Stable File To A Line

(4) from infacing lines -- Ends Stable, All Beau Hop

(5) from outfacing lines -- Split Phantom Lines Swap The Top

(6) from a tidal wave -- Once Removed Wheel & Spread

(7) from a tidal wave with girls as the very ends and with alternating sexes -- Once Removed Do Your Part Girls Kick Off

(8) from a formation formed from parallel ocean waves and having the trailing end Face Out -- Initially Centers, Motivate

(9) from a double pass thru -- Initially Tandem Catch 2

(10) from a tidal inverted line -- Initially Cross Concentric, Flip Back

(11) from a tidal wave -- Initially 1/2 Crazy, Mix

(12) from a tidal wave -- Initially Stable, 1/4 Mix

Saturday A-2 Workshop

Todd primarily worked with calls that can be fractionalized: 

(1) from a right-hand tidal wave -- Load The Boat

(2) from twin diamonds with a center right-hand wave and all infacing points -- Load The Boat

(3) from a formation formed from outfacing lines and having the centers Quarter Right -- Crossfire (centers end in a single 3/4 tag)

(4) from parallel single file columns with the centers having opposite handholds from the centers -- Those Facing Start Pass The Ocean

(5) from parallel single file columns with the centers having opposite handholds from the centers -- Those Facing Start Pass & Roll

(6) from a formation formed from a double pass thru with girls as beaus and having the girls Right Roll To A Wave -- Boys Start Peel & Trail

(7) from parallel ocean waves with boys as the outfacing ends and adjacent centers -- Boys Start Relay The Deucey

(8) from parallel inverted lines or from parallel single file columns with the centers having opposite handholds from the centers -- Those Facing Start Right & Left Thru

Todd used some of the calls and ideas from the workshop session, but also include a few more interesting calls:

(3) from a right-hand mini-wave static square -- All 8 Spin Chain Thru

(5) from a squared set -- All 4 Couples Box The Gnat

(6) from parallel ocean waves -- Spin Chain The Gears, Interrupt After Turning The Stars 1/2 With The Center Wave Mix And The Others U-Turn Back

Sunday C-1 dance

This was was primarily a dance session.  Some of the more interesting calls Todd used involved concepts or call modifications: 

(1) from parallel inverted lines with infacing ends -- Tally Ho

(2) from parallel inverted lines with outfacing ends -- Percolate

(3) from an asymmetic formation formed from outfacing lines facing side walls and having the dancers in the near box Cast Off 3/4 -- (Working The Circulates In Phantom) Percolate

(4) from a 3/4 box with standard outside couples and the centers in right-hand mini-waves with the boys facing the center of the set -- Ramble

(5) from an "I" consisting of outfacing outside couples and a center left-hand wave -- Plenty

(6) from a standard right-hand 1/4 tag -- Scoot & Plenty But Replace The Split Circulates With Lockit And Just  The Boys Finish The Call

(7) from a trade by -- Finish Cross Chain & Roll

(8) from a tidal wave -- Concentric Slip & Slide

(9) from a tidal two-faced line -- Concentric Switch The Line

(10) from outfacing lines -- Concentric Vertical 1/2 Tag

(11) from parallel ocean waves -- Stretch Linear Cycle

(12) from a formation formed from parallel single columns and having the leads in each split box Face In -- Do Your Part, Stretch Zing

(13) from triple boxes with four dancers in the center box and the other as ends of a 2x6 -- Triple Box Flutter Wheel

(14) from a formation formed from parallel ocean waves and having the infacing ends and adjacents centers Hinge -- Phantom Relay The Top

(15) from a formation formed from outfacing lines with the boys as centers and having the left couples Cast Off 1/4 -- Phantom Twist The Line

(16) from a formation formed from parallel right-hand ocean waves and having the outfacing ends and adjacent centers Circulate as the others Hinge -- Phantom Remake

Sunday C-2 Dance

This was also primarily a dance session.  Some of the more challenging calls included:

(3) from magic columns -- Magic Invert The Column 1/4

(4) from triple boxes with four dancers in the center box and the other as ends of a 2x6 -- Triple Box Catch 3

(5) from a tag formation with the outside mini-waves and the center wave having the same handhold -- Triple Wave 2/3 Recycle

(6) from parallel infacing lines -- 3/4 Crazy Square Thru 3 To A Wave

(7) from any parallelogram lines -- Parallelogram Counter Rotate

(8) from infacing lines -- Once Removed Single Circle To A Wave

(9) from parallel ocean waves -- Once Removed Right Roll To A Wave

(10) from outfacing lines -- Once Removed Vertical 3/4 Tag The Line

(11) from any tidal line -- Once Removed Once Removed Single Wheel

(12) from a tidal inverted line with the very ends with inside right hands -- Once Removed Here Comes The Judge
