Friday C-3A Dance

Mike presented an interesting mix of calls from unfamiliar positions and challenging applications of concepts:

(3) from same-hand interlocked diamonds -- Inside Triangles Exchange The Triangles

(4) from a formation formed from a completed double pass thru and having the leaders Quarter Out -- Reach Out

(6) from parallelogram inverted lines -- Parallelogram Drift Apart

(7) from parallelogram inverted lines with the ends of each line facing in with a center right-hand box -- Parallelogram Eight By Mini Chase

(10) from parallelogram ocean waves with the outermost ends facing in -- Initially

Saturday A-2 Workshop

Mike provided the dancers with a review of a wide variety of calls, many from difficult starting formations: 

(1) from a formation formed from a static square and having everyone Quarter Left -- All 8 Peel & Trail

(2) from parallel ocean waves & parallel two faced lines -- Trail Off and Peel & Trail

(3) from parallel ocean waves -- Peel The Top

(4) from parallel columns with boys facing and girls back-to-back -- Boys Start Half Breed Thru

(5) from a double pass thru -- Checkmate The Column

(6) from various parallel 3&1 lines & inverted lines -- Crossover Circulate

(7) from point-to-point diamonds -- Triple Trade

(8) from same-hand point-to-point diamonds -- Split Counter Rotate

(9) from a tidal two-faced line -- Fan The Top

(10) from infacing lines -- As Couples Wheel Thru

(11) from infacing lines -- As Couples Recycle

(12) from a formation formed from a right-hand tidal line and having the very center 4 Wheel & Deal -- As Couples Centers Start Left Swing Thru

(13) from a formation formed from parallel two-faced lines and having the leaders As Couples Quarter Out -- Do Your Part Mini Busy

Mike used some of the calls from the workshop session, but had plenty of additional interesting material:

(2) from twin diamonds with a right-hand center wave and all infacing points -- Load the Boat

(3) from parallel inverted lines with infacing ends -- Ends Start Load The Boat

(4) from various tidal lines, parallel lines, and parallel columns -- Single Wheel

(5) from a completed double pass thru -- Checkmate The Column

(6) from same-hand twin diamonds -- Ends Cast A Shadow, Centers Recycle (the
ending formation is not a butterfly)

(7) from a formation formed from infacing lines and having the centers Pass The Ocean while the ends Touch 1/4 -- Spin The Windmill Right

(8) from a static square -- All 8 Square Chain Thru

Sunday C-1 dance

This session provided the dancers with a strong workout in positioning and application of concepts: 

(1) from a formation formed from a trade by and having the ends Quarter Out -- Shakedown

(2) from a formation formed from outfacing lines and having the beaus Quarter Right -- Coordinate

(3) from a formation formed from infacing lines and having the beaus Face Out -- All Do Your Part Follow Thru

(4) from a formation formed from parallel inverted lines with infacing ends and having the centers in the left-hand mini-waves Face In -- Tally Ho

(5) from a formation formed from a trade by and having the outside beaus and the center belles Quarter Right -- Tally Ho

(6) from a formation formed from parallel inverted lines with outfacing ends and
having the left-hand mini-waves Hinge -- (Start Phantom) Tally Ho

(7) from parallel ocean waves -- Stretch Trail Off

(8) from a tidal wave -- Stretch Explode The Wave

(9) from a formation formed from infacing lines and having the centers Pass The
Ocean while the ends Left Touch 1/4 -- Concentric Recycle

(10) from a right-hand tidal wave -- Concentric Turn Thru

Sunday C-2 Dance

Those dancers who attended all of the sessions agreed that this one was the most challenging.  Mike expanded on some of the material he used at the C-1 session and included more applications of concepts: 

(1) from outfacing lines -- Rotate 1/4 and Rotate 1/2

(2) from an eight chain thru -- Rotary Rims Trade Shazam

(3) from a tidal wave -- Stretched Wave Lockit

(4) from parallel lines with girls as centers and parallel lines with girls as ends -- 1/2 Crazy Girls Kick Off

(5) from parallel inverted lines with infacing ends -- 3/4 Crazy Split Trade Circulate

(6) from infacing lines -- 3/4 Crazy Vertical Tag Back To A Wave

(7) from a formation formed from infacing lines and having the ends Extend -- Reverse 3/4 Crazy Recycle

(8) from a completed double pass thru -- Once Removed Turn To A Line

(9) from a tidal column with all dancers facing the center of the set -- Tandem Once Removed Touch 1/4
