Top | A-2 Workshop | A-2 Dance | C-1 Dance | C-2 Dance | C-3A Dance John workshopped quite a bit of material: (1) from parallel ocean waves -- Turn & Deal (2) from a left-hand tidal two-faced line -- As Couples Turn & Deal (3) from a left-hand tidal two-faced line -- Chain Down The Line & Roll (4) from a left-hand tidal two-faced line -- As Couples Chain Down The Line (5) from a tidal line -- As Couples As Couples Quarter In (6) from parallel ocean waves, parallel two-faced lines and an eight chain thru -- Right/Left Roll To A Wave (7) from various "I" formations consisting

Top | A-2 Workshop | A-2 Dance | C-1 Dance | C-2 Dance | C-3A Dance John used continued using the material he covered in the workshop session. He also included a few other interesting additions: (1) from a 1/4 tag -- scoot & weave & roll (2) from parallel left-hand two-faced lines with the girls facing out -- Girls As Couples Run Left (note: they only Run around one boy) (3) from a formation formed from outfacing

Top | A-2 Workshop | A-2 Dance | C-1 Dance | C-2 Dance | C-3A Dance John concentrated on the Stretch concept emphasizing that the calls should be executed as one smooth call as opposed to executing the call on each side and then adjusting across the center: (1) from right-hand two-faced lines -- Stretch Single Wheel (2) from parallel ocean waves -- Stretch Explode The Wave (3) from a tidal wave -- Stretch Switch The Wave (4) from a left-hand tidal wave -- Stretch Chain Down The Line (5) from outfacing lines -- Stretch Chase Right (6) from outfacing lines -- Stretch Shakedown (7) from parallel single-file columns -- Stretch Follow Thru (8) from a tidal two-faced line -- Stretch Cast Off 3/4 (9) from a tidal inverted line -- Stretch Any Hand Remake (10) from parallel two-faced lines -- Stretch Peel Off Other calls that some dancers found challenging were: (1) from parallel ocean waves -- Tandem Cross Roll To A Line (2) from parallel inverted lines -- Crossover Circulate (3) from a tidal wave -- Concentric Linear Cycle (4) from a completed double pass thru
-- Outsides Single Rotate 1/2
Top | A-2 Workshop | A-2 Dance | C-1 Dance | C-2 Dance | C-3A Dance Many of the dancers found the material in the C-2 dance quite challenging, especially those calls using concepts: (1) from a double pass thru -- Cross Concentric Reverse Split Swap (2) from right-hand ocean waves with girls facing out -- Cross Concentric Single Bounce The Girls (3) from a parallel single-file column stagger formation -- Stagger Split Recycle (4) from parallel single-file columns -- Stretched Box Peel To A Diamond (5) from a 3/4 line -- Wheel & Counter & The Centers Roll (6) from right-hand offset waves with the outermost dancers facing out -- 6 By 2 Acey Deucey (7) from a right-hand tidal wave -- Once Removed Sock It To Me (8) from parallel single file columns
with boys as #1 & #2 in the columns -- Do Your Part: Boys Walk Out
