Friday C-3A Dance

Much of the dance involved the interesting use of concepts.  These included from a double pass thru formation, Once Removed Belle Hop; from two-face lines, Initially Cross Concentric Recoil; from ocean waves, Once Removed Stack the Line and Split Phantom Waves Scoot & Weave; and  from parallelogram columns with the #1 and #2 dancers forming the center box, Initially Triple Box Coordinate.  Others that required several walk-throughs included from ocean waves, Once Removed Stack the Line; from a completed double pass thru formation, Once Removed Rotate 1/4; and from a tidal wave, Once Removed Tag Back to a Wave and  Once Removed Rims Trade Boys Kick Off.

Saturday A-2 Workshop

While Saundra didn’t teach anything new, she provided a much-needed review of many calls.  From ocean waves, she covered the following calls: Outroll Circulate 1 & 1/2, Inroll Circulate 1 & 1/2, Single Wheel & Roll, Swap Around & Roll, Scoot Chain & Roll, Peel & Trail, Zig-Zag,  and Zag-Zig.  From left-hand 1/4 Tag, she reviewed Ping Pong Circulate.  She also used an interesting combination from ocean waves; she called Do your part, Leaders Switch the Wave, Trailers Mini Busy.

Saturday A-2 Dance

Saundra came up with some calls to make the dancers think: from two-faced lines, Trail Off; from same-hand point-to-point diamond, 6 by 2 Acey Deucey; and from a left-hand 1/4 Tag, Chain Reaction.  Some dancers had to see the following call several times before they finally understood it: from an "I" formation with the girls in the center two-faced line & the boys in single file columns of 2 on each end, Boys start Peel & Trail.

Sunday C-1 Dance

Even though Saundra did not present many unusual calls, the dance was quite challenging.  Many dancers had some trouble with the following: Siamese Follow Thru and Siamese Scoot & Weave from a 1/4 box ; Step & Fold from same-hand diamonds; and Crossfire from facing diamonds.

Sunday C-2 Dance

Saundra’s dance was quite challenging.  She had to review Once Removed Here Comes the Judge, Once Removed Sockit to Me, and Once Removed Wheel & Deal from tidal waves before the majority of the floor could dance the calls.  Also, very few dancers knew how to execute Fascinating Nothing and  Checkpoint Nothing by (Anything) until she explained them.
