Calls & Concepts - November 2008
.
Featuring: John Marshall |-bio

As the “Any Hand” concept has been recently added to the A-2 definitions preface, John selected that for review with expansion beyond the more common Any Hand 1/4 Thru and 3/4 Thru applications.  Included were:

1) From Inverted parallel lines (and tidal Inverted lines) - Any Hand Swing Thru

2) From Magic columns – Any Hand 1/4 Thru and 3/4 Thru

Next John added the logical extension of - Any Hand Grand modifier:

3) From tidal inverted lines - Any Hand Grand Swing Thru

4) From Right or Left handed columns - Any Hand Grand 1/4 Thru and Any Hand Grand 3/4 Thru

5) From Magic columns – Any Hand Grand 1/4 Thru and Any Hand Grand 3/4 Thru

From formations 4) and 5) above John expanded to include the Any Hand Remake and Grand Remake applications.

John followed up on the October 2008 “Grand” workshop as presented by Barry Clasper, (click here).

John explored under-used applications of Acey Deucey from the following formations:

6) Parallel waves, before and after centers have box counter rotated into various non T-Bone pairings.

7) Parallel 2 faced, 1 face, 3 in 1, and inverted lines, before and after centers are box counter rotated into various non T- Bone pairings.

8) Columns, Double Pass Thru, Completed Double Pass Thru, Trade By, 3 in 1, before and after centers have box counter rotated into various non T bone pairings.

9) Standard Twin Diamonds and Interlocked Diamonds, also with all points facing in or all facing out, as well as after the center 4 (In non T-Boned pairings) have been T-Boned to the points i.e. after center wave Lockit.

10) Standard 3/4 Tag Lines as well as from an I-Formation.

11) From Column formations where the centers are not T-Boned to one another but the ends are.

Many in this Acey Deucey group were called having some or all persons go 1-1/2.
