started calling in 1969. He moved to Sweden in 1998 and does most
of his calling throughout the United States, Sweden, England, Germany,
Canada, Denmark, Norway and has called once in Japan. Dave has been
on staff at the National (now AACE), American, Canadian, and Southern
Advanced and Challenge Conventions as well as the Swedish National Challenge
Convention, Heartland Jubilee, PACE Extravaganza, PACE Spectacular, Sweden's
Ericsson Jamboree, the Swedish National Convention and Germany's iPAC Convention.
He has also held caller's schools and clinics in Germany, Sweden, Denmark,
Seattle and Los Angeles. Because Dave calls all of the challenge levels,
albeit, not much C4, technical accuracy in square dancing is very important
to him. However, he enjoys calling festivals from Mainstream
through A-2 as well. Dave has a home recording studio which has become
one of his favorite hobbies when he's not calling.
